Author Guidelines

The guidelines for writing articles for Eduscience: Jurnal Sains Pendidikan are as follows:

  1. The submitted article must be an original scientific work that has never been published and is not currently under consideration by another journal or publication medium.
  2. The article must be relevant to the focus and scope of Eduscience: Jurnal Sains Pendidikan, covering educational sciences, teaching and learning, curriculum and instruction, educational innovation, educational technology, educational management, teacher education, educational psychology, assessment and evaluation, inclusive education, elementary and secondary education, Islamic education, and other relevant educational studies.
  3. Articles must follow the editorial style and formatting requirements specified in the official Eduscience article template.
  4. Articles should address current and significant academic or practical issues in education, supported by an appropriate theoretical foundation, relevant methodology, analytical discussion, and up-to-date scholarly references.
  5. Articles should provide a clear academic contribution to the development of educational theory, practice, policy, methodology, or innovation.

Article Structure

Articles submitted to Eduscience: Jurnal Sains Pendidikan should be organized as follows:

  1. Title
  2. Author's Name, without academic degrees
  3. Author's Affiliation
  4. Author's E-mail Address
  5. Abstract, maximum 300 words
  6. Keywords, 3–7 words
  7. Introduction
  8. Research Methods
  9. Results and Discussion
  10. Conclusion
  11. References

Additional subheadings may be included according to the characteristics and methodology of the article.

Language Requirements

Articles may be written in English or Indonesian. The manuscript must use clear, effective, consistent, and appropriate academic language.

Manuscript Formatting

Articles must follow the official Eduscience template regarding paper size, font, margins, line spacing, article length, headings, tables, figures, and other formatting requirements.

Authors are required to use the official journal template when preparing their manuscripts.

Reference Management

Authors are recommended to use reference management applications such as Mendeley, Zotero, or other reference management tools.

The journal uses APA (American Psychological Association) citation and reference style. All sources cited in the manuscript must appear in the reference list, and all references listed must be cited in the manuscript.

References should be relevant and preferably drawn from recent and credible scholarly sources, including peer-reviewed journals, academic books, proceedings, and other reputable academic sources.

Publication Ethics and Plagiarism

Authors are fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, and integrity of their manuscripts. Submitted articles must be free from plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, inappropriate citation, and other violations of publication ethics.

Manuscripts must not be simultaneously submitted to or under review by another journal.

Article Submission

Articles must be submitted through the online submission system of Eduscience: Jurnal Sains Pendidikan.

The submission must include:

  1. Complete manuscript prepared according to the journal template;
  2. Author's full name, affiliation, and e-mail address; and
  3. Other information required by the journal's submission system.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted is accurate and complete.
